how stupid was i to think that today would be a great day because i had the best dream ever last night. its really sad for me to say that i'm going to end off this year with the sending home of my good friend, vidya. i hope that wherever he goes, he'll go with a skip in his step and a smile on his face. spread your joy around, vidya. we'll all miss you.

in a blink of an eye, its goodbye to the year 2008 and hello to the year 2009!

so today, i'm just going to take a look at how i grew over the year.

haha. okay. I GREW LONG HAIR! haha. i think tts the first difference. i wore my prom dress to a wedding dinner yesterday then i realized how different i look in my prom dress with longer hair. haha. tt was quite shocking. because i never really realized how much my hair grew.

next, i think i've become happier but sadder. yeah, confusing huh? happier for various reasons, but sadder because i think i've kinda lost something within me tt i cant find back just yet. yups. its either the homeliness i used to feel in xinmin or probably i'm just growing older. HAHA! but anyway, yeah. and the even sadder fact is tt next year is probably going to be all SYF and A LEVELS. how sickening when your Os are just last year!

third, i think i've become bitchier and more kaypo. haha. so my new year's resolution is to become LESS BITCHY AND KAYPO! haha.

forth, i dont study half as much anymore. or rather, i cant absorb half as much information as i could anymore. its either that the information are too chim to penetrate through my mind or that my mind is too small to accomodate all that information.

okay, so here comes my new year's resolution!
1. i want to be happy (same as last year's)
2. i want to be less bitchy and kaypo
3. i hope i'll study harder this year

HELLO! i'm so going to do my blog some justice today! i shall blog about XMAS!

okay. this christmas, i went to witness "the most important day of phoebe's life" because... SHE GOT BAPTISED! haha. and, i got a FREE TOWEL as door gift. YAY! haha okay i sound so cheapo. afterwards we went around town to eat and walk around abit before we went to Raffles Hotel to watch VJChoir carol (for the third time for me). and yupps, they were good. haha. its not like i can say tt they arent too, cux they really were. haha.

uh huh. and on christmas day, I COOKED! haha. for the first time in a long long time. YAY! i'm so proud of myself (: yeah and i got to eat muddy mud pie from coffee club, which was so heavenly. haha.

anyway, after all the christmas gift making hassle, i am snowed under a heap of holiday homework. like 17pages of math (somebody save me!). BAH!

pw is finally over! HOOOORAY! haha. honestly, i really enjoyed pw because i have such lovely pw mates, other than the suicidal jt! haha. i really disliked doing wr because its so tiresome and irritating. but its now over YAY! haha. and i really really enjoyed OP because it was the perfect timing to get HIGH! haha. me, weiling, jazz and yanzhu got so high that jt kept praying for help. haha. but yeah, i guess we managed to influence jt to become high w us too(: whatever tt is, i'm really really happy that its over, and that we gained a little recognition for our "enthusiasm". haha. the school asked us to do some sharing w the j1s next year. i was kinda proud of it because it just shows tt our efforts have paid off.

anyway, i want to say special thanks to the most lovable and special people in my pw group.

to all of you: thanks for making my pw journey so enjoyable. i admit sometimes i just feel like slapping all of you and myself because it gets so stressful, and sometimes i believe we just want to hate each other. but i'm really glad that our friendship managed to stabilize the situation and i'm really happy to get to know all of you better now.

to my crazy girls (WONDERFUL WEILING, CUTEY JAZZ and SEEZHUZHU) : i love you all for going so crazy w me sometimes, chill me when i get all so stressed up and even tahan some of my mood swings and whatever nots. and i love you all oh-s0-much. haha. oh yes, i think i may go for some courses this holidays, despite the horrible schedule i may have due to syf and what not. but i guess i should go for all these simply because i feel so... studies- base all of a sudden. yepps.

AHHH! i cant stand my clumsiness. i fell on the road on the way back to my granny's. tts stupid. apparently, i was walking and walking and walking then i half stepped into this mini hole that was at the edge of the pedestrian's pathway and FELL on the side of the road. ahh BOO!

i feel like some whiney person now. booo. i wish i was more alert ): now i have free waxing session from the fall cux my leg hairs are gone thanks to the abrasion. but then again, i have really short leg hairs. haha. and my knee is bruised ): so i've got some purple barney knee. feels weird when i move it though. haha. like my muscles just solidified and the joints are not really in a good working condition.

i'm here to blog again. why? because i'm BORED and SICK AND TIRED OF DOING MATH! our dear sheryl here has miraculously finished 5 math tutorials from 10am to 5pm (excluding 2 hours of food plus random walking about at home).

how should i put across how i feel now. hopeless? yeah i guess, i'm quite sure that this is a sense of hopelessness.

as i stare at the seemingly never ending pile of stuff to study and memorise (thanks to the fact that i take geog and bio), i'm quite sure i feel hopeless. and math, yes math. the irritating, horrible, terrible math that i somehow always score okay in for big exams. i look at the questions and blanks start appearing in my heads. flip back, and look at the solutions, and these blanks transform to question marks.

my pro-math friends have somehow disappeared. smsed them, and i received no reply. i think of who else i can call for help, but there seem to be no one, at least they are not close to me. oh well. hopeless hopeless hopeless.

been awhile since i've felt like that. but oh well. i guess i'll continue drowning in math before an sms comes to save me.

hello. because the old man (minghao aka mh) tells me to update so i am. 不听老人言吃亏在眼前right? haha.

okay. what i've been up to recently? hmmms. i was down with stomach flu last week and got 3 days mc. so i missed quite a lot. oh booo! but the up side is that i rested a lot and became super hyper the last few days. need to catch up alot on guitar. the notes are so difficult to play!! oh boooo! haha.

erms. i went out more with the xinmin people last week. okay maybe not. its more like i went out more with the 402 ppl. haha. i'm so glad i'm going back for speech day-- you see xinmin misses me (: haha. and homecoming day is coming! oh yay! but not everyone can go back on homecoming which is a big boo boo.

my iPod touch is failing me cux it refuses to sync my favourite photos for 402! BOOOO! i cant believe i actually meddled with the stupid thing that failed me for two hours before i decided that i dont wana friend it anymore. haha. but i'm still trying to fix it now. oh boo booo!

okay! the speech thing has finally ended and i'm kinda proud of myself. no, i didnt win anything and didnt get into the finals either. but i'm glad that people came up to me after my speech and tell me "well done!". it was great encouragement. besides that, an adjudicator even found me on purpose to tell me my mistakes and areas i've performed well in. you have no idea how thankful i was!

haha. erms. i know I NEED TO DO MY TUTORIALS (but i dont know how to do maclaurins!) hees. a little lazy, and i really dont know how to do them. oh boooo! haha.

let me share with you something i've learnt yesterday. people look down on you when you dont speak the perfect English. and i've learnt it the hard way.

oh well, never mind. i may not speak the perfect English, but at least i haven't lost my identity, and my command of my mother tongue language.

i think my life now is dull. its not like i'm not having fun, i am. maybe too much fun, or maybe i'm just involving myself too much. i feel dead.

everyday feels the same. after all the busying, when i sit alone on the bed and stone, tears will just start welling up in the eyes. maybe i just cannot adapt to JC life, or maybe i just miss my secondary school life. i know i ought to do sth about this, but there's no time to do anything about it.

mr ching has been telling me to do stuff i like. its not like i never tried, but i'm yawning more than enjoying what i used to love to do oh-so-much. now, when i look at secondary school students, i wonder about how carefree their lives are, and i'm envious. you have no idea how much i want to go back in time, but that's not possible.

i dont know if anyone has this sentiment of feeling so involved in everything, but so distant to everything. i feel so mentally strained and emotionally numbed, and it gets worse when you have to start comforting people who feel similarly, because u know you need to be stronger (at least at that point in time).

i hope this is just an awful phase that can quickly pass. its no wonder i feel like eating ice cream everyday.

to mr ching: thanks for letting me depend on you everytime i emo. you still know what to do when i cry. you've made everything so much easier for me, little bro. (:
